The wind, the desolation, the time and the sand of the desert have formed continously mutant landscapes, always revolving themselves again and again in beautiful shapes. Nothing there you can meet. No insects, no plants but yourself and differents kinds of sand, salt, gypsum and ground. In fact, Moon Valley is a place of peace. Hot but calm and very quiet.

The Atacama Desert, the dryest desert in the world, is located up the extrem north of Chile, near the border with Bolivia. It´s a beautiful location, extremely barren.

Due to the complete lack of rain, conditions for visibility are excepcional and the Atacama region is considered the best place of the planet for astronomical research.
